Getting startedLog your first entry

Log your first entry

Two clicks and a number. Open Apps → Calibro Track, pick a day in the week rail on the left, then fill in the row at the top of the day.

  1. Start typing an issue key or part of its summary. Issues you’ve touched recently appear first.
  2. Enter how long you spent. Several formats work — see below.
  3. Add a note if it’s useful to your approver, then choose Log time. The note is optional.
The composer sits at the top of the day. Type a key or a few words of the summary and matching issues appear underneath — issues assigned to you first.

Ways to write a duration

The duration field takes the same shapes Jira’s own time fields do. All of these mean an hour and a half:

YOU TYPEYOU GET
1h 30m1 hour 30 minutes
1.5h1 hour 30 minutes
90m1 hour 30 minutes
901 hour 30 minutes
2h302 hours 30 minutes
45m45 minutes
A bare number is minutes, not hours

90 is an hour and a half, so 2.5 is two and a half minutes — not two and a half hours. If you think in decimal hours, put the h on the end: 2.5h. The hint under the field says the same thing while you’re typing.

Whichever you type, entries display in the format you chose in Settings — 1h 30m or 1.5h. That choice also applies to CSV exports, which matters if you feed them into payroll.

What happens to it

The entry is a draft. It counts toward your week total, it’s visible on the issue, and you can edit or delete it freely. Nobody is waiting on it until you submit it — see Submitting and approvals.

Or let a timer do the counting

Everything above is for time you already know the length of. If you’d rather capture it as it happens, press Start instead — on the day, or on the issue — and stop it when you’re done. It produces the same kind of entry. See Timing your work.

Logging for a past day

Select the day in the week rail before you log, or use the previous-week arrow to go further back. From an issue, use the date control in the panel.
